In 2012 Thunder utilized our new JBL VTX25 system for events including the Detroit Electronic Music Festival, Kid Rock with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Governor Romney on his campaign trail and for Metallica "3d". The system supports diverse configurations with Crown ITHD12K processed amplifiers and a fiber backbone, all controlled with System Architect and Performance Manager.

On Monday night, the 5th of November, for the New Hampshire Rally with Governor Romney, the new JBL VTX25 Line Array system was deployed. The system consisted of 56 VTX25 Line Array speakers and 72 Crown HD12K amplifiers all packaged in TA612K touring amplifier racks. 48 VTXS28 dual 18” subwoofers were deployed to carry the bottom end and fill the 11,000 seat arena for Kid Rocks' performance. The system utilized the “V-DRIVE” system to drive AES and control to SR, SL and subwoofer zones with a DBX 4800 as the front end processing.

Thunder Audio was able to respond and deploy this system within 24 hours from the first call including Prep, Trucking and Load into the Manchester New Hampshire Venue.
