Thunder Audio Tours with Daniel O'Donnell

Thunder Audio supported Daniel O’Donnell in September for shows in the US and Canada ending with the shooting of his 11th PBS special in Detroit. Thunder Audio provided a complete control package and audio system for the run. Included were Soundcraft VI6 and Yamaha PM5D consoles, KT Active splitter systems Telex BTR wireless intercom and RCF speaker systems. The system consisted of 18 RCF TTL55 Line Array elements, 9 per side, with 2 TTS36 Subwoofers per side and TT052A front fills. The package was managed by the RCF RD-NET system software.

For the PBS Special, an additional AVID Venue mixing console was supplied with a ProTools HD4 recording system. It was mixed on a pair of Meyer HD1 monitors.

"The tour went really well...", states Greg Snyder, account manager and project engineer, "...the RCF system performed flawlessly. RCF has been working on all custom settings for Thunder and this box has turned out to be as smooth as silk. The system flys fast, the software is very easy to use and is full of great features. The engineer really enjoyed the clarity and dynamics of the system for Mr. O’Donnell."
